Johnstock 2013!

Hello! I have a fun announcement - Little Winter Shop will be a vendor at Johnstock 2013! I'm really excited, and I've never done anything like this before.

When Zach was explaining to someone what Johnstock was, he said "It's like Woodstock. But crafts."

Because I'm fairly confident it's NOT like that, here are the details I have for you so far. (I do hope you'll come say hello!)

What: an art/craft fair sponsored by local businesses of northeast mpls. (including, my fav Crafty Planet!)
When: June 1st, 10am - 6pm
Where: Northeast Minneapolis (details to come - it's outdoors in a parking lot) :)
Who: ME! (little winter shop) and lots of other crafty people in Minneapolis, and beyond.
Why: Because it's fun to support your local community, and everyone needs more crafts in their life.

I'm super pumped about it, and have turned my dining room into a baby headband factory in order to prepare.  That said, things at the shop may be a tad quieter the next few weeks so that I can stock up for Johnstock.  Although I couldn't resist adding some new fabric headbands today. And just a couple felt.  :)

weekending

Well, here's a little peek at our weekend.  I don't think I pulled out my camera at all on Sunday, but at least it's something.

In other news, I'm 99% sure I drank dish soap in my coffee this morning.  I was driving to work (having already finished half of my travel mug, mind you), and thought "hey, this tastes like Mrs. Meyer's Geranium soap." oops.

Ernie boy came over for a visit Friday afternoon to entertain the ladies. He was definitely loving the attention and pulling out all of his tricks. :)
Girls came over to do crafts with me on Friday. And let me take their picture. I have nice friends.

favorite beverage in my favorite mug.
A quiet Saturday morning.
Wrapping up week 2 of whole 30! I nearly caved on Saturday because I wanted fro yo.  Zach is proving to be the strong one.
We're brewing our own kombucha tea - looks like it has a monster in it, but makes our stomachs super happy.

Made a big mess.
Added some new items to the shop!

It's here! Up and running! I'd be tickled pink if you payed a visit to my little shop.  It's got my heart and soul poured into it, and I'm thankful to be a part of the etsy community!

Here's a peek at what you'll find in the shop:
