little yellow house home tour

Our little yellow house. Over 100 years old, full of fun details and interesting quirks. Lovingly referred to as the "Corcoran Cottage" - maybe just by us. We like it here... and we're leaving here. That's right - moving for the second time in less than 2 years. Because who doesn't like to get completely settled and then put everything back in boxes?! Just kidding.

We're excited to move (still in Minneapolis) to an apartment within a house. A house where my sister and brother-in-law and their two kiddos live. What can we say, we like 'em. :)

We're not packing up until this winter, but I wanted to get a few photos of our little place where we've lived for our second year of marriage.

I'd like to get into a habit of documenting the places we've lived.  So many memories held within the walls that we call home.

I will miss our sunny kitchen!
The upstairs is an attic loft (Zach can only stand up fully in the middle!) - and one of our favorite spaces in the house. We had our bedroom upstairs for most of the year, and moved it downstairs for the summer because it gets pretty toasty up there. But, having our room upstairs always felt like a little hide-a-way.  We call it our hobbit hole. :) We tried and tried to get our box spring up the narrow stairs, and couldn't do it, so we had just our mattress to sleep on. A tiny bed in a tiny attic. I loved it.
